What an Aura Reading Can and Cannot Tell You

What an aura reading can and cannot tell you

Let us start with what this is not, because the honest limits are the part most worth reading.

An aura reading does not diagnose illness. It does not detect disease, and it cannot tell you whether a symptom is serious. If you are unwell, the person to speak to is a doctor, and any practitioner who suggests otherwise is doing something both unsafe and, in the UK, against the advertising rules.

We will say this in the session too. If something you describe sounds clinical rather than spatial, we will stop and tell you.

With that settled, here is what actually happens.

What "aura" means in this practice

The word carries a lot of baggage. Here is how we use it.

Biofield is the scientific term for the measurable envelope every living body produces: heat, weak electromagnetic activity, moisture, faint light. That much is not controversial. Every human being radiates it and instruments can detect parts of it.

What is not established is that this envelope carries the specific structured information the chakra tradition describes. We are not going to pretend otherwise.

So we use the seven-layer chakra model as a framework for a structured conversation, not as proven physiology. It is a way of asking about your energy in an organised, repeatable order rather than a vague chat about how you have been feeling. That organisation is where the value is.

If you want a reading that claims to scan your energy field with a device and print a diagnosis, we are not that practice.

The session, stage by stage

Stage one — Aura scanning (about 30 minutes)

We work through the seven layers in order, root to crown. Each one is recorded against four fixed measures: intensity, stability, boundary and colour.

You describe what you experience. We record it in a fixed format so that a reading taken today can be compared to one taken in six months. Nothing here is improvised, and nothing is left as an impression.

What you get: a seven-row baseline table, dated, with a plain-English note on each layer.

Stage two — Energy mapping (about 30 minutes)

This is the part that makes the reading useful rather than interesting.

A layer that reads as depleted is not much use on its own. The fact that it reads as depleted specifically in the room where you work every day is a different thing entirely. We plot the readings onto your floor plan and mark where they cluster.

What you get: your floor plan, annotated, with clusters marked and ranked.

Stage three — Spatial quadrant analysis (about 30 minutes)

The annotated plan is laid over the sixteen Vastu zones. Now the mismatches surface.

A scattered crown layer clustering in a north-east room that has become a store cupboard is a finding you can act on. A depleted heart layer clustering in a south-west bedroom is another.

What you get: a zone-by-zone score and a correction for each zone that scores poorly.

What you receive afterwards

  • A seven-layer baseline table, dated
  • Your floor plan, annotated and zone-mapped
  • A ranked correction schedule: this week, this month, this quarter
  • A six-week review call, included rather than sold separately
  • A written note of anything we think belongs with a doctor rather than with us

That last item is on every report. Sometimes it says "nothing".

Who it actually helps

In practice, people book for one of four reasons.

A home that feels wrong and they cannot say why. This is the most common. The value is in the structure: a fixed process usually locates something the person had stopped noticing.

A change of circumstance. New house, new job, separation, bereavement. The reading gives an ordered way to take stock of a space that has changed meaning.

A pattern tied to a room. Someone sleeps badly in one bedroom and well in another. Someone cannot concentrate at one desk. Mapping readings to place is built for exactly this.

Curiosity. Entirely legitimate, and we would rather someone came curious than came desperate.

Who it does not help

Anyone hoping to avoid a doctor. Please do not.

Anyone wanting a guaranteed outcome. We do not offer one and we will not imply one.

Anyone wanting to be told their house is cursed. It is a building with an orientation. If a previous practitioner told you otherwise, that was a sales technique.

The boring explanations come first

A good reading rules out the ordinary before reaching for the spatial.

A room that drains you may have damp, poor air exchange, a blue-heavy light fitting, road noise you have stopped consciously hearing, or a temperature two degrees below the rest of the house. Those are real, measurable and fixable, and they explain a large share of what people bring to us.

We check them first. Being willing to say "your problem is the extractor fan, not your energy field" is precisely why the rest of the assessment can be trusted.

An honest summary

An aura reading gives you a structured, written, repeatable account of how you experience your own energy and where in your home you experience it. That is a genuinely useful thing to own, particularly if you have been circling the same problem for a year without naming it.

It is not medicine, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a guarantee. Anyone telling you otherwise is overselling, and overselling is how this entire field lost its credibility in the first place.
