Can Vastu problems be corrected without structural changes?

Yes. In our practice the large majority of Vastu corrections are achieved through placement, colour, material, light and weight rather than construction.

How it works

It works because a Vastu zone responds to what occupies it. A north-east that has filled up with storage is corrected by clearing it and returning light to it. A south-west that feels unsettled is corrected by adding mass: heavier furniture, a deeper tone, a lower visual line. The direction cannot move, so we change what sits in it.

What changes

The result is a plan you can execute yourself over a few weekends. Where a structural change genuinely is the only honest correction, we say so, we explain why, and we tell you what it would cost before you commit to anything.

The diagnostic, step by step

1. Orientation capture — A compass reading taken at the building's main axis, not a guess from a map. Magnetic declination applied. Everything else depends on this number being right.
2. Plan overlay — Your floor plan is divided into the sixteen zones of 22.5 degrees, centred on the geometric centre of the built footprint.
3. Function audit — Every room is recorded with its actual use, not its name on the plan. The "dining room" that is really an office is audited as an office.
4. Mismatch scoring — Each zone is scored on the fit between its governing quality and what currently occupies it.
5. Correction drafting — Each poor score receives a written correction, with the object, the position, the orientation and the reason.
6. Sequencing — Corrections are ordered by expected impact and by cost, so you can start with the free ones.
